The role:
• Conducting in-depth market analysis to identify consumer behaviour and competitive activities within the German retail sector.
• Crafting and implementing a comprehensive sales strategy aimed at capturing and growing the market share.
• Managing existing partnerships with distributors, with the ultimate goal of establishing direct-to-retail supply channels.
• Establishing and nurturing relationships with key retailers including Edeka, DM, Rossmann, Kaufland, and REWE.
• Working closely with the Marketing team to ensure brand consistency and effective promotional activities that resonate with the local market.
• Building, leading, and mentoring a first-class sales team equipped to support the company's growth and market presence in Germany.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and achievement of overall business objectives.
You:
• A fluent German speaking commercial leader with an in-depth knowledge of the German retail market.
• Have a proven track record in devising and successfully executing retail market strategies.
• Possess experience in recruiting, developing, and managing high-performing teams.
• Showcase a proactive and hands-on approach, ready to get your hands dirty to deliver results from day one.
• Are a strategic thinker with outstanding relationship-building and negotiation skills.
• Willing to based in London for the initial period, with frequent travel to Germany, and prepared to relocate to Frankfurt in the mid-to-long term.
